1. Process formula. Different process and formula have great influence on emulsification, which determines the proportion of raw materials and the order of addition in the preparation process.
2. Emulsifier. Different emulsifiers have different effects on the degree of product structure change and the interfacial tension and the energy required for emulsion formation.
3. Emulsion equipment. Different emulsification equipment has different structure design, shear force and rotation speed, which greatly affects its emulsification effect.
Analysis of factors affecting dispersion and emulsification effect from the perspective of equipment
1. Structure of emulsifying machine. Emulsifier is generally divided into intermittent emulsifier and pipeline emulsifier. Pipeline emulsifier has better emulsification effect, and materials can be fully dispersed and emulsified with high efficiency. IKN high shear emulsification machine adopts pipeline emulsification method.
2. Shear rate of the emulsifying machine. The core parameter of the emulsification equipment is the shear rate. Generally, the higher the shear rate is, the better the dispersion emulsification effect is. Of course, it needs to be determined according to the specific material process; JPS emulsifying machine is accelerated by belt, with the minimum speed of 4500rpm and the maximum speed of 6000rpm.
3. Processing time. The longer the material stays in the chamber, the better the corresponding dispersion and emulsification effect, and the more treatment times, generally speaking, the better the dispersion and emulsification effect. The structure design of JPS emulsifying machine adopts vertical split structure, with short operation time.
4. Precision of emulsion head. The traditional emulsification machine uses single-layer emulsification head with rough processing, while IKN nanometer homogenization emulsification machine uses three-stage emulsification head with smaller gap, higher precision and better emulsification effect.

High shear working process:
1. Under the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotating rotor, the material is sucked into the working chamber from the upper and lower feeding areas of the working head at the same time.
2. Strong centrifugal force throws materials from the radial direction into the narrow and precise gap between the stator and rotor. At the same time, the material is preliminarily dispersed and emulsified by centrifugal extrusion, impact and other forces.
3. At the outer end of the high-speed rotating rotor, a linear speed of at least 15m/s and above shall be generated, up to 40m/s, and strong mechanical and hydraulic shearing, liquid layer friction, impact and tear shall be formed, so that the materials can be fully dispersed, emulsified, homogenized, broken, and shot through the stator slot. The emulsifier shears, disperses and impacts the materials through the high-speed rotation of the homogenizing head connected with the engine. In this way, the material will become more delicate and promote the oil and water to blend. Sauce and juice in the food industry. Ointment in the pharmaceutical industry. Emulsifier is used in petrochemical industry, paint, paint, ink, etc. The application of mixing, stirring, dispersion, homogenization, emulsification and grinding in the process of experiment or industrial production.
4. The material is continuously ejected from the radial direction at a high speed, changing the flow direction under the resistance of the material itself and the container wall. At the same time, under the effect of the upper and lower axial suction forces generated in the rotor area, the upper and lower turbulent flows are formed. After several cycles, the material finally completes the process of dispersion, emulsification and homogenization.
